There used to be an embeded media player here, but it doesn't work anymore. We blame the Tumbeasts.
It seems that Ubisoft got a little confused when they put together the latest of many trailers for next month’s Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. They titled it “The End of an Era,” which is odd because we just got the news that the series is getting yet another sequel next year. A 2012 follow-up would make four games in four years – and that’s not even counting handheld releases. The previous two sequels have been so good, though, that few haven’t bothered to register complaints about all these quick releases.
Since we already know that Desmond will be back next year, it would stand to reason that the ending of an era refers to Ezio saying ciao at the conclusion of Revelations. Then again, it could just refer to Altaïr’s story being wrapped up. Guess we’ll just have to wait until November 15th to find out for certain.
