Play Game, Save Lives During Extra Life 2011

Be a hero.

Starting tomorrow, gamers will have a chance to give something back to the community.  Extra Life is a 24 hour gaming marathon that helps benefit kids at Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.  If you are participating, you are asked to recruit at least four sponsors to give at least $1 each hour towards your gaming marathon.  If you do not have the time to dedicate a full day, you can do a partial day because it is done from your own home.  If you have a few friends who can help you out by sponsoring you, you will be truly contributing in a very easy way.

Gaming marathons usually involve some sort of lock down in a church or school to raise money, but this one you can do from the comfort of home.  Hopefully this will assure more participants.  All the proceeds from your game-a-thon will be donated to the Children’s Miracle Network hospital closest to you.  If you are interested (and how could you not be?) you can go on over to Extra Life’s official site to sign up and receive more details.
