Silent Hill: Downpour Gets Pushed Back to 2012

Your year just got a little less scary.

There used to be an embeded media player here, but it doesn't work anymore. We blame the Tumbeasts.

Amidst a very busy holiday games release season, Konami has decided to push back it’s newest installment in the Silent Hill franchise to some time in 2012.  Originally slated for a mid-November release, Silent Hill: Downpour won’t be seeing the light of day until after Christmas.  The original story, broken by MCV, chalks up the delay not to the publisher itself, but rather to video game retailers expectantly (and haphazardly) slapping a November release date on the title.  No matter who the culprit may be, horror fans won’t be seeing Downpour any time soon.
