As silent as it was abrupt, internet site What They Play has been taken down. For those unfamiliar with the website, What They Play was a gaming community structured around keeping parents informed of the quality and content of the games currently on the market. It was a niche site for sure, but also a pretty well executed idea up until about the beginning of the year (at which point updates stopped altogether).
The URL for What They Play now immediately redirects to the front page of its parent network, IGN.
