About five minutes ago my heart rejoiced and broke all at the same time. Today the Official UK PlayStation Magazine announced that Hideo Kojima would be on the cover for the November 29th issue, and among some of the items discussed in the pages of the mag will be his plans for Metal Gear Solid 5. I love the Metal Gear series. I’ve played each game and know the story inside and out. I would say it’s my favorite game series, but then Gordon might try to kill me with his crowbar.
I’m of course happy to be getting another Metal Gear game. At the same time I’m sad because I was completely satisfied with the ending of MGS4, and now I’m worried about it. One thing I’m looking forward to reading is exactly why Kojima tried his best to off Solid Snake in the story plot. There will also be talk about some of his other projects and you will get to hear his thoughts on Metal Gear as a series. If you’ve never bought PSM before, now’s the time (well, November 29th will be the time).
