February 22nd, 2012 is just under three months from now. No big deal, right? Unless, of course, you’re a rabid gamer who’s frothing at the mouth to get their hands on a PS Vita and take launch games like Uncharted: Golden Abyss for a spin. If that sounds familiar, then you may be in luck.
Sony is going to kick off a new promotion for the handheld on Thursday, December 1st in San Francisco. Gamers will get an opportunity to play the Vita and games such as Golden Abyss, Little Big Planet, Little Deviants, WipEout 2048 and ModNation Racers.
Don’t go into panic mode if you don’t live in the greater San Fran area. The publisher is planning on taking its Social Club parties on the road throughout the country. Head on over to the PlayStation Events site if you want to keep tabs on where the promotion is headed next.
