Cool picture right? The image above sets the tone for the upcoming indie game A Walk In The Dark from Flying Turtle Software. You play as Bast, a cat whose owner has been taken away by the non-cat in the image above. Bast will have to traverse a dark forest, avoiding traps, obstacles, and even inverting gravity to make it through. The trailer and screenshots definitely give off a Limbo-esque feel, but the game does have a style all of it’s own. According to Flying Turtle, the controls are designed to be fluid to go along with the smooth animations and gameplay; which you can clearly see in the trailer.
A Walk In The Dark is looking at a 2012 release, and we will definitely pass on information as we get it. In the meantime, enjoy the screenshots and trailer below.
