Unzip Unit 13’s First Trailer

First footage of Zipper Interactive's Vita launch-ish title.

There used to be an embeded media player here, but it doesn't work anymore. We blame the Tumbeasts.

The PlayStation Blog revealed yesterday that Zipper Interactive (SOCOM 4) is working away on a military shooter named Unit 13 that will release sometime shortly after the PS Vita launches on February 22nd. Not wishing to make eager gamers go hungry until tomorrow’s big meal, Sony has dropped the first tasty footage of the game upon us. Interestingly, the trailer is as much an ad for the Vita’s control features as it is for the third person shooter.

Regardless, Unit 13 looks like it could be a strong title to help fill out the lineup for Sony’s next generation handheld in the early going. Players will choose from one of six operatives that each specialize in a different discipline in the game. The shooter will also have a co-op mode that will feature voice chat and leaderboard support.
