Your Magic Armor Works Again: Skryim Patched on PC, Console Update to Follow

Bethesda's massive adventure gets yet another patch.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

As much as gamers love the Elder Scrolls series, you can’t deny that Bethesda’s popular RPG franchise is not without its technical flaws. After being patched on consoles just last week, Skyrim is getting yet another update. Already available on PC, the 1.3 patch addresses a bevy of technical issues that mostly focus on stability and animation glitches.

The biggest change here is the fixing of a bug which affects spell resistance. Nothing hurts more than having zero tolerance against magic-spewing monsters even though you have a sweet set of armor. The newest patch fixes this problem, but the 1.3 update will not be available for consoles until it gets the go-ahead by Microsoft and Sony. According to Bethesda’s blog, that update will hit the 360 and PS3 as soon as possible.
