BioShock Infinite Gets a Release Date

I'm gettin my plasmids ready!

BioShock Infinite, which takes place in the skyward land of Columbia (complete with rail cars and time rifts) has finally been given a release date.  The title, which is set to land in North America on October 16th, 2012, will be releasing internationally for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the PC on the 19th of October.

In the announcement article on the Irrational Games website Ken Levine says, “BioShock Infinite has been our sole focus for the last four years, and we can’t wait for fans to get their hands on it.”

With that in mind, I’m looking forward to a great game!
