Kubbi, a chiptune artist from Norway, recently released Sleet. The album has 17 tracks filled with trippy melodies and hard hitting bass. The song “Mellow” reminds me of Apex Twin a little bit due to the way the drum and bass sound overlaps the melody. The song “Cartridge” has guitars played by Jonas Dam, which mixes well with the chip sounds. Its heavy guitar gives the song an edgy sound then goes into and melodic chorus.
