With the PS4 and XBox One getting in to full motion this year many people are looking forward to games like Watch Dogs and MGS5. Fuck that. I want Hotline Miami 2 and I want it right now! I was a bit late to the Hotline Miami party, but when I finally got there, it became one of my favorite games. From this trailer it doesn’t look like Hotline Miami 2 will be reinventing the wheel, but will be expanding on the already great game play.
This trailer is packed with action, but I’m hoping there is still room for the more tactical style of play I used while playing the original. I prefer the satisfaction of clocking someone with a pipe rather than blowing them away with a shotgun. For those of you going to PAX East, you’ll be able to preview Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number at the Indie Megabooth.
