Countdown To Destination
TWAB, Lost Sectors, Destiny 1 items, Luke Smith's comments, PC feel, this week's featured streamer, and Messages from the Reef!...
We start with the dates finally confirmed for Destiny 2’s beta. In addition to the dates being revealed, we find out the day Destiny 2 is being released on PC and we find out it’s almost a month and a half later from console release. The In Orbit crew discusses what we think of this delay and how it impacts the new, burgeoning community on PC.
Discussion shifts to the story and how, per Luke Smith in multiple articles, the concept of the Darkness is changing as they did not know what the concept was truly going to be about. In addition, some stories, like the one of the Exo Stranger, are considered to be closed and not to be returned to again. This has upset many in the community who wanted some real answers to questions posed in Destiny Vanilla, especially since Grimoire is going away.
We close the show out with conversation of what we think the beta will be like and PlayStation exclusive items which confirm the return of the Taken!
