Striders March To California
David returns to discuss Destiny 2, no more updates for Destiny, and subclasses!...
This week Carmine from Fireteam Chat Podcast Facebook Page and Cartridge Blast Gamers joins Jorge on In Orbit to discuss our random thoughts and reviewing our history with Destiny.
We begin with how the community built itself up due to the lack of Bungie adding LFG. Was Bungie not adding in game LFG secretly a blessing in disguise? We discuss the plethora of tools such as Facebook groups, LFG sites, phone apps, and more that propped up because of this need which lead to friendships and clans and more. We discuss the possibility that we never would have met up if it wasn’t for this need.
Discussion changes to Mark Noseworthy’s point that exotic drops will be changing from how they are currently to be more scarce. We discuss how special the exotic gear and weapons used to feel in Destiny because of how rare they were, and how powerful they were as well. In year 2, the lack of scarcity, and how weak they felt compared to the year 1 gear and weapons lead to people not using the new items. We discuss how we would like exotics to be in Destiny 2 going forward. While we talk about exotics, we also discuss patrols and how they are changing and how we hope these dungeons take exotics into account.
We finish discussion with matchmaking and dedicated servers and how this plays into Destiny’s connections issues from the past and how we hope it will affect them going forward.
Chip does not think highly of Alec Ryder's decision making skills. And have we found our Kaiden and Ashley?
Blazzinbob welcomes guests NoHitJerome, EbonHardt, and HelloJTello!
MK1 Ghostface gameplay, Capcom Cup XI qualified players, Guilty Gear Strive patch, and fighting game standards.
We finally sink our teeth into Andromeda, evaluate the systems and try to determine who is the Jenkins.
