90's Nostalgia, Crunch Culture, and Journey to the Savage Planet
PS5 coming on time, Resident Evil 4 Remake, 90's Nostalgia, Crunch Culture, and Journey to the Savage Planet....
One show, two features. First we dive into Final Fantasy VII Remake and talk about our experiences with going back to Midgar after so long. Fans of the series will be happy know that there is more than nostalgia here, and even if you know the Final Fantasy story inside and out, there are new reasons to play.
After that we talk about Death Stranding. It was one of the most critically divisive games of 2019, but it absolutely expanded what a game can be.
Final Fantasy VII Remake – 2:20
Death Stranding – 34:20
Jarret is Executive Director as well as one of the founding members of Mash Those Buttons. He plays all types of games, but tends to lean more toward FPS, Stealth, and Combat games.
Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.
Bob and Mel discuss the Wrath Classic developer announcements with ScotteJaye and Duranasaur.
At long last, we meet Chief Hekarro.
It's our last amusingly numbered episode for a while. We're mostly talking 6.2, and anecdotes. Minimal dalmations.
This week, the Spicy Bois talk about the new Gun Run LTM, patch notes, and Loba's heirloom.
