Mortal Kombat: The Movie?

New and improved Mortal Kombat?! Say it isn't so!

Mortal Kombat

The recent success of the new Mortal Kombat game and the huge success of the new MK shorts have given the executives at Warner Bros. the motivation they needed to remake the Mortal Kombat films.  Thankfully Kevin Tancharoen, who did a very good job at the YouTube, shorts will be at the helm with his partner Oren Uziel.  Mortal Kombat: Legacy was created for around 2 million dollars and his budget for this movie is reportedly around 100 million.  I remember playing these games back on the Genesis, and as long as Ryan Robbins continues to play Raiden I’ll think it’ll be awesome!  With this in mind, lets hope to see a good reboot of the Mortal Kombat series in 2013!
