Double Tap #86: What the Shit Nintendo!?

June 14th, 2018

E3 2018 is now over and the FGC is not immune to it’s hype, rumors, and let downs. “Fighter’s Corner” is bringing us new announcements, from characters to new releases this week. SNK Heroines gets closer to a fully released roster, is it just in time for EVO 2018 for something special? After a warmhearted farewell from Koei Tecmo earlier in 2017, the Dead or Alive series finished its support for the fifth game in the series, or so we thought. Dead or Alive 6 has been announced at E3 showing us familiar faces but with some sacrifices that might make the community a little wary but still excited to see the girls back to play rougher than ever.

Blazblue Cross Tag is now receiving it’s first set of DLC characters on June 19th, even though modders have had access for a week now, it’ll be everybody’s turn next. Dragonball FighterZ World Tour is announced and the speculation is high as to the quick turn out for Arc Sys after “letting the community” take the reigns for only a couple months. Summit of Power has concluded and Crashtag has a heartbreaking news from Ed Boon. Nintendo has a nuke and EVERYBODY is getting hit and Future Gohan receives a mod that makes him whole again.

Video gaming runs in his blood and competition plagues his mind. From the earliest days in the now extinct arcades, to the eSports competitive scene, he looks forward to the next game to test his skills. No stranger to rising salt levels.

I've been playing video games for a while now. I enjoy racing games, RPGs, but spend most of my time with fighting games. My first goal was to get better than my brothers, but now I strive to be better than most while also teaching others.
