Those who purchase this summer’s Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D for the Nintendo 3DS will get an added bonus in the form of a playable demo of the upcoming Resident Evil: Revelations. In the demo, players will take control of series protagonist Jill Valentine as she makes her way through a mysterious ocean liner. Capcom’s press release went on to say that the demo will drop players into the ship’s interior and pit them against waves of “mysterious creatures”. While that was the extent of the information released, Capcom does promise fans of the series can look forward to additional information at this year’s E3.
The Mercenaries ships this June in Japan and will be released at a later summer date in other territories.
