If your PlaySation 3 is not one of those nifty backwards compatible models and you really like Tomb Raider, then March 22 was a great day for you. The Tomb Raider Trilogy is now available at your local retailer for the PlayStation 3 only, allowing you to play a few of the Tomb Raider games that were seemingly on everything but PlayStation 3. These titles are Tomb Raider: Legend, Tomb Raider: Anniversary, and Tomb Raider: Underworld.
This pack retails for $39.99 and is a great deal for three games (even if Legend was on the mediocre side). It would have been nice to see the controls fixed, but for now they are just high definition versions of the original. You still cannot really beat three games for that price, though. Also included with the pack are some extras: The Tomb Raider Trilogy theme pack, a Lara Croft Home female avatar outfit, the Viking Thrall Home male avatar outfit, and some “making of” videos. PlayStation 3 owners can find this pack in stores as of March 22nd, but there is no word on any kind of version for other systems (probably because the Xbox 360 already has released all of these games separately).
