The latest issue of the UK Official PlayStation Magazine (PSM) has something that will be of extreme interest to you Call of Duty fans out there – and I’ve heard there’s more than a couple of you. The humungous green ‘3’ pictured above should tell you everything you need to know. The mag’s next issue is going to have the scoop on the sequel that everyone knew was coming: Modern Warfare 3.
If you look closely, you’ll also notice the line “The biggest game in the world returns soon” printed at the bottom of the page. The issue in question is advertised as being available on June 8. Wait, isn’t there some quaint little industry gathering happening that week? That’s right shooter fans, all signs point to a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 announcement at this year’s Electronics Entertainment Expo, followed immediately by a PSM cover story. Less than one month to go!
