n-Space Teases Heroes of Ruin for 3DS

We're not sure how exactly you go about heroically ruining something, but perhaps E3 will shed some light on the matter.

Earlier today, n-Space, the Florida-based developer behind Geist, posted the above concept art on its Facebook page. They casually mentioned that it was linked to the game Heroes of Ruin for the 3DS and then yanked the image. Luckily, Videogamer was able to snag it before it was taken down. The site notes that Square Enix filed a trademark for the name Heroes of Ruin last month, which indicates that they will be publishing the game.

Although we literally do not have a single piece of info on Ruin, we’re siding with the rest of the internet in thinking that it will be a co-op dungeon crawler. The artwork indicates the inclusion of a par-for-the-course mix of ranged (sub-machine guns), monk, warrior and mage characters. Of course, that’s pure speculation at this point. Next month’s E3 convention will, in all likelihood, prove these suspicions right or wrong.
