Yesterday, a Gamestop flyer spoiled the next map pack for Black Ops. In light of the leak, Activision has now officially announced the DLC as the ‘Annihilation’ pack. As the brochure foreshadowed, Annihilation will include the following five maps: Hangar 18, Drive-In, Silo, Hazard and Shangri-La (a new zombie map). Shangri-La was described as “an exotic and mysterious map filled with deadly traps, dark secrets and innovative gameplay that will challenge even the most daring Zombie hunters.”
The pack will be available for download on June 28 on Xbox 360. Just as with the other packs, the 360 will enjoy a timed exclusive of Annihilation before it hits other platforms. In promotion of the release, Activision will hold a double-XP weekend for Black Ops owners starting July 1st.
