E3: Star Fox 64 3D Trailer & Release Date

Do a barrel roll!

There used to be an embeded media player here, but it doesn't work anymore. We blame the Tumbeasts.

Perhaps it’s a bit ironic that one of the earliest games to bring us into the world of 3D gaming (old school gaming definition) will now be one of the flagship titles to bring us into 3D gaming (new school gaming definition). Are you following that? Nevermind, it’s not important. What’s key is that you get that guy off of Slippy’s six, because we all know that dumb space frog can’t do anything for himself except file shrill complaints.

In addition to porting over one of the finest space shooters ever crafted, Nintendo’s EAD magicians have also worked a new element into the game’s multiplayer. When playing competitively, the 3DS camera will film your facial expressions and broadcast them over your craft on the screens of your foes. The winner of each round also gets a little crown shopped onto their head.

Star Fox: The Ultimate Smack-Talking Experience will release on September 11, 2011 in North America.
