Miss Croft is going to be going through some hard times in what is being called a reboot to the Tomb Raider franchise. The game aims to be an origin story for how Lara Croft learned her basic repertoire of skills used in becoming the titular Tomb Raider of legend and fame. The trailer shows a young Lara Croft sailing for adventure before disaster strikes and the ship runs aground This apparently is where the adventure is going to start for Lara. Of course things will continue to get worse for the popular game heroine as the adventure progresses.
Microsoft showed off some of the game play during their press conference at E3 this year. The demo starts out with Lara being hung upside down trapped. She eventually escapes but it only gets worse from there. This is going to be a treacherous journey if the trailer and the demo show us anything. Feel free to comment on what you think about this tonally different reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise.
