Sony has announced on their UK site that the PSN will be down for maintenance today from 4:30 to 7:01 GMT. During that time, the PlayStation Store, network account management, and account registration will be inaccessible. After what PlayStation users have been though over the past month and change, those two and a half hours should go by like they were nothing. But for those of you who really can’t survive an evening without the PSN, there’s still hope. As long as you are signed into the PSN prior to 4:30, you can still play online during the maintenance period. You can also continue to collect trophies during the downtime.
