Ms. Splosion Man Splodes On To XBLA July 13th

July 13th is a bad day to be a scientist

Official word from Twisted Pixel is that Ms. Splosion Man, sequel to the very excellent Splosion Man, will be landing on XBLA July 13th.  No pricing has been revealed yet, but I can’t imagine that it’s going to be much higher than 1200MS ($15).  I had a chance to play Ms. Splosion Man at PAX East and I have to say I had a good time.  The challenge and humor that you expect from Twisted Pixel were present as well as new game play mechanics that make this a new game and not just some Splosion Man clone or expansion.

Those who download Ms. Splosion Man can expect 50 all new single player levels, 50 multiplayer levels, a ton of unlockables that will give you access to a behind the scenes look of the games creation, and a bunch of other surprises.  Besides all that, I’m looking forward to the soundtrack.  The Brad theme from Comic Jumper is one of my favorite game tracks so I’m curious to see what they came up with this time.
