World of Warcraft Now Free-to-Play Until Level 20

Blizzard tries to enroll the last six people on Earth who haven't played WoW.

The free-to-play bandwagon is beginning to get a little crowded these days.  After last week’s unveiling of Team Fortress 2 switching to the F2P pay model, Blizzard has now stepped forward and announced that World of Warcraft is following suit.  Well, kind of sort of.

The very few uninitiated who haven’t given WoW a chance can now do so for free until they hit the level 20 cap.  Included in this extended trial period are also the Draenei and Blood Elves as selectable races for play.  The new races brought in with WoW: Cataclysm (Worgen and Goblins) will only be available with purchase of their respective expansion pack.
