Capcom Uses Destructive Weather as Scapegoat

Capcom says it's not their fault that they're double-dipping.

Fans of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 are, generally speaking, pretty damn peeved about the impending release of Ultimate, but maybe Capcom can soften their hearts with their tale of how a tsunami interrupted development time for the original’s DLC.  Oh, you’re still pissed?  Well that is the story that was given to a source at Comic-Con that spoke to producer Ryota Niitsuma.  According to Niitsuma, there was actually a lot of DLC that was going to be released for the game this year, until that tragic tsunami got in the way. Instead, we’re getting Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, which, as it turns out, is a mash-up of the DLC you should already have by now and some new stuff.
