Dragon Nest Closed Beta Was Successful

This was a triumph...

Dragon Nest

Nexon’s closed beta for Dragon Nest ended up being a huge success, and the open beta is set to begin on July 26th.  This highly anticipated online role playing game is set to release this summer.  Over 12,000 players collectively signed on from the United States, Canada and Australia and logged 140,000 hours of play time.  Within this time, they completed 467,820 quests, slaying 265,873 bosses.

The closed beta should help the team improve the final game, as the results surprised even the producer of the game, Davy Garaix.  He commented: “The closed beta test exceeded our expectations considering the participation levels and the feedback we’ve been getting from players.  The data we collected from the players and the responses they are providing via the Dragon Nest forums is proving invaluable as we continue to refine the game and make adjustments to the content and features.”  Now that the closed beta has concluded, fans are awaiting that July 26th kick-off of the open beta.  Information on how to sign up can be found on Dragon Nest’s official site.
