“Massive Update” For The Blocks Cometh

The Blocks Cometh again.

Landscape

Haflbot, creators of The Blocks Cometh, have just announced a massive update to their game that has integrated some player feedback they have gotten.  The first challenge was making the game available in “Landscape” mode, which would be available if you flipped your iOS device on it’s side.  They have accomplished this to accommodate players who wanted that.  They have also added two new modes to the game, Casual and Arcade.  Casual mode is aimed at players that want to take it easy while playing, and Arcade creates even more of a challenge than the original.

Other updates to the game include four more characters and over thirty achievements in all to obtain. Some bugs in the game have also been fixed.  Also, in-application purchases will now be available. “It’s no surprise that it is a challenge being a small, self funded indie developer. In app purchases helps to fund development and allows us more time to work on our own IP’s, bring you updates and continue to bring bigger and better games to the market place” says Derek Laufman, developer at Halfbot.

For fans of the days of old, “Gamebot” mode will allow players to play The Blocks Cometh in a throwback style; complete with new art, a new soundtrack, and the custom Gamebot skin.  With this update you will also be able to play will all characters without having to unlock them.  Last but not least, the price of The Blocks Cometh will drop to the great value of 99 cents to celebrate the update!  It sounds like there are a lot of good reasons to give this game a try.
