OPM: Mirror’s Edge 2 Powered by Frostbite 2 Engine

More proof that Faith is on her way back in a sequel.

The evidence that a sequel to Mirror’s Edge 2 keeps on piling up. In June, we reported that EA Games’ Frank Gibeau strongly hinted that the sequel would be powered by Frostbite 2. And now OPM claims that insiders have verified that exact claim.

“The Frostbite 2 engine will pave the way for Mirror’s Edge to make a free-running return,” read the statement from OPM. This is exciting news for any who enjoyed the first person platformer; which was just about anyone who played it. Keep your browsers aimed at MTB for more Mirror’s Edge 2 rumblings in the months ahead.
