What is possibly the box art, preorder bonus, and collector’s edition details for BioWare’s highly-anticipated MMO, Star Wars: The Old Republic, has surfaced on the net. The leak originated via a listing on a Polish retailer’s web site. Even if this is legit, it may or may not apply to North America in addition to Europe. The reward for preordering the game is said to be a “colour stone to change your weapon effect.”
The order form was quickly taken down, but not before sites such as Massive and G4 got a good look at it. An announcement in relation to the game is expected to emerge from this weekend’s Comic-Con, so it’s entirely possible that EA had the retailer pull it down in an attempt to not have their plans for the convention spoiled.
As for the Collector’s Edition, it was priced at a whopping 150 Euros (roughly $220). In addition to all the goodies, which you can find listed below, those who reserve will reportedly gain access to the game ahead of its official launch date. By preordering the regular version, you’ll get in three days early. If that’s not enough for you, though, know that reserving a copy of the Collector’s Edition will grant you a six day head start.
