Valve speaks about the content's release time frame.
In an interview with Kotaku, Valve revealed that the first DLC for Portal 2 will be releasing some time in the middle of September. That is “still technically summer,” said Valve’s marketing overlord, Doug Lombardi. The DLC was first announced back in April and will be free to gamers.
