Resistance 3 Yanked from 3DTV Bundle

Motorstorm Apocalypse now coming with the Sony TV, instead.

Remember that wonderful little 24 inch 3DTV announced by Sony at E3 that simultaneously projects two entirely different full screen images rather than going split-screen for two players? Of course you do, it was one of the best surprise announcements from the show.

Originally, the plan called for the TV to launch in a bundle that included Isomniac Games’ Resistance 3. That’s no longer happening. In its place will be Motorstorm Apocalypse. The move was confirmed when Insomniac responded over Twitter to inquiries in regards to an Amazon listing implying as much. “For those asking about the 3DTV bundle: http://t.co/y0o9u4F — Motorstorm: Apocolypse replaced Resistance 3. Sorry for any inconvenience.” A reason for the switcheroo was not provided, but we’re operating under the assumption that it is related to the Sony Empire’s strict policy against employing aliens.
