Deep Silver has just recently released a six page digital comic that reveals the events leading to the upcoming game Dead Island. Dead Island is a zombie game that places innocent vacation-goers in the midst of an invasion of the undead kind during their trip to Banoi. The comic introduces journalist Roger Howard who has traveled to the aforementioned holiday island to investigate the illegal exportation of the island’s resources. While snooping around the Royal Palms Resort hotel, he discovers something unexpected. The comic was created as a prequel to the game by Marvel Custom Solutions and can be read in it’s digital format here. Unfortunately, unless you attended the recent San Diego Comic Con, you will not be able to get your hands on a print version of the comic.
