Assassin’s Creed: Revelations Team Slyly Confirms Another AC Title

Next confirmation? An Assassin's Creed every year for the next decade. Taking bets now.

 Assassin's Creed Revelations

The newest installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise may still be a month out, but we can assure you it won’t be the last game in the series.  In a recent interview with Eurogamer, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations’ Creative Lead Alexandre Amacio has spoken out regarding the future of the series.  While the quote isn’t exactly an official announcement of Assassin’s Creed: Ezio Auditore’s Day Off (a working title we’ve came up with), it does ring of promise for a grand finale sometime next year.  Amacio has been quoted as saying:

In Assassin’s Creed we set up a timeline with this whole end of the world plot of December 2012.  That’s fast approaching, and the story we have to tell, we obviously need to do it before we arrive at that point.

Seeing as Revelations isn’t being sold as the end of series protagonist Desmond’s story, it’s safe to assume that gamers should see the current storyline come to a close sometime before Christmas of next year.
