Resident Evil Revelations Uses Slide Pad Attachment

And it'll be hitting Japan this January.

Famitsu has revealed that Capcom’s upcoming survival horror game, Resident Evil Revelations, will take advantage of the slide pad peripheral pictured above. Players who have the add-on will be able to move characters with the standard left stick while using the right stick for aiming and rotating – you know, like in a normal action game. There will be multiple control schemes to choose from.

Revelations has yet to be dated for North America, but Famitsu says that the game will release in Japan on January 26, 2012.
