Two New Character Trailers for Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3

An gun-wielding forest animal and a journalist walk into a bar...

There used to be an embeded media player here, but it doesn't work anymore. We blame the Tumbeasts.

With only a few weeks left till Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 releases, Capcom has released two trailers showing off new characters that were as yet unannounced. The two characters are Rocket Raccoon, from Guardians of the Galaxy, and Frank West, from Dead Rising.

The trailer above shows off Rocket Raccoon, and his move list looks to contain a lot of projectiles and different kinds of traps. Rocket Raccoon is a very small character, and his hit box will probably be around the size of characters like Viewtiful Joe or Amaterasu. This character looks to appeal to players that like to come up with some crazy tactics on the fly.

Frank West was actually in a Vs. game already, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, but it looks like he has been given an upgrade since that fighter. In the bottom trailer there appears to be a level system in which the more pictures the player takes of the opponent the quicker the meter fills. The highest level shown in the trailer is level 4 (the level he is currently at can be seen near his health bar). It also appears though that Frank West will be missing out on a level 3 hyper combo.

The announcement of these characters finishes out a list of leaked characters that was posted to the web in the previous summer. Now whether there might be more characters or not is yet to be seen. It is very doubtful that there are more characters coming at this point, but you never know what Capcom might do next with this series and its roster.
