Remember Dante from every Devil May Cry game sans the new one? He looked pretty cool with his bleached haircut and was a snappy dresser. Ninja Theory re-imagined Dante as a pretty normal looking guy in their game DmC: Devil May Cry.
After fans of the series were a little turned off by just the idea of a new looking Dante (let’s keep in mind that fans haven’t actually even played as him yet), Ninja Theory has made up some story about this character being a parallel universe nega-Dante or something like that. It feels an awful lot like they are trying to save this game’s reputation, but even with a change in back story, fans will not be happy with the appearance.
