Square Enix, not willing to allow Bethesda to comfortably enjoy a monopoly on dragons this month, has just dropped a new CG trailer for next year’s Final Fantasy XIII-2. The footage is chock full of beasties such as the aforementioned dragons and concludes with Lightning riding into battle atop an armored horse. There’s probably another Bethesda joke to be made here, but we’re going to take the high road and point out Square hasn’t lost any of its penchant for producing some of the most gorgeous cut scenes around.
