Final Fantasy XIII-2

Square Enix has announced a limited collector’s edition of Final Fantasy XIII-2 to be released in select retailers in North America on January 31st, 2012.  This title is the direct sequel to Final Fantasy XIII and will be released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.  This edition will feature artwork packaging by Yoshitaka Amano, a 4-disc official soundtrack, and a collection of concept art.  The three retailers who will exclusively carry this edition are Best Buy, Amazon, and GameStop.

Each of the retailers will have their respective extra incentives for pre-ordering either edition of the game.  Best Buy customers will receive a collectible hardcover book that ties together the stories of the two XIII games.  Amazon customers will receive a unique coliseum battle.  GameStop customers will receive an alternative costume for the character Serah.  As always, these offers are subject to change and availability.  The collector’s edition featured in this article may be subject to change, and may not be available outside of North America.
