First Footage of New BioWare Game

BioWare – the developer of a slew of major fantasy and sci-fi RPGs such as Mass Effect, Jade Empire, and Knights of the Old Republic – today released the first footage teasing its secret new game. The footage lasts all of a few seconds and shows, surprisingly, contemporary military tanks trading fire in an urban atmosphere amidst crumbling buildings.

Is this a signal that BioWare is getting in on the ridiculously popular and crowded military shooter genre? It’s impossible to say at this point, as the game could just as easily be an RPG take on modern military combat. You’ll just have to sit tight until the Spike TV VGAs kick off on December 10th at 8 pm EST. It’s then that BioWare will be releasing the full version of this trailer and showcasing this new game.
