Primal Carnage Adds New Combatants

Dinosaurs vs. Humans = Awesome

There used to be an embeded media player here, but it doesn't work anymore. We blame the Tumbeasts.

One of the biggest titles that I’m looking forward to this year, Primal Carnage, just released some new information on a new playable human and dinosaur. The human character, who is called the Pyromaniac, will be doing a hefty bit of melee damage in addition to setting anything and everything on fire. Players will take control of his Flamesaw, a cross between a flamethrower and chainsaw, which works great at medium range. He will also have grenades to do a bit of damage at longer range.

The awesome Carnotaurus is the new addition on the dinosaur side. It gets the ability to trample enemies at high speed, ram them with his horns, or maul on people’s faces. His charge can knock out a group of enemy players at one time but his flanks are exposed afterwards, which can make for an easy takedown if the humans can evade long enough. Primal Carnage is nearing its beta testing stages and will hopefully be released sometime this year.
