WOW Forever launches November 4, and this is the full breakdown of everything Blizzard has actually confirmed — four new zones, nine new dungeons, three raids on December 9, the account-wide Legacy System, and the rulesets that replace realms completely.
Episode I Of WOW Forever on Warcraft Reloaded — a weekly podcast covering WOW Classic and every version of it. Six segments, no class or talent talk yet, that gets its own episode.
WHAT FOREVER ACTUALLY IS A permanent Classic branch. Level 60 stays the cap for good Blizzard adds zones, dungeons and raids sideways instead of raising the cap.
NO REALMS, JUST RULESETS Normal, PvP, Roleplaying and Roleplaying-PvP at launch Hardcore in winter 2026. NO cross-ruleset groups, dungeons or raids. Want to switch? Roll a new character. Collections and Legacy Points carry account-wide, and Hardcore progress flows out but never in.
THE NEW WORLD Zephras Isle, Riverglades, Shen'Dralas and Mount Hyjal. Over 1 ,OOO new quests and nine new dungeons on day one, from Hall of Thanes at 13-18 to Shapers Terrace at 58-60. XP curve unchanged, mob XP cut, dungeon quest XP raised — first run pays, farming doesn't. Skyborne is a new race for either faction, with Undead Paladin and Dwarf Shaman among six new race and class combos.
RAIDS IN 10, 20 AND 40 December 9 brings The Barrow Deeps (10-player, 8 bosses), Hyjal Summit (20-player, 13 bosses) and Onyxia's Lair (40-player, Drakefire Amulet attunement). No flex raiding, ever.
LEGACY SYSTEM AND CAMPING Account-wide Legacy Points from class, tradeskill, honor and raid milestones, spent across Professions, Adventure and Resourcefulness. Talent points at level 9, half-price flight paths, no vendor reagents. Camping puts a campfire almost anywhere with shared profession buffs and repair vendors.
TOGGLES, FRICTION AND RULES Optional transmog and an optional visual refresh. NO summoning stones, no shared tagging, no lower-level PvP protection. GDKP banned, gold buying crackdown with Temporary Economy Holds, and Midnight's addon restrictions apply.
PVP Darkspear Islands, a new 15v15 battleground for levels 30-60. Simplified rank grind, AV honor cut to stop the spam, solo queuers kept away from premades.
