Call of Duty Black Ops 2 (Possible Double XP weekend incoming)

Today the new DLC pack Vengeance drops for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, which is an event all by itself to vivid players of the military shooter. For everyone else, the release of the new map pack on the Xbox 360 may also be an pre-invitation to a Double XP weekend. If Activision follows their current trend with Double XP weekends for Black Ops 2, then this weekend from Friday night to Monday morning should be the next scheduled Double XP event, and it should not be locked to just Double Weapon XP. Stay up-to-date on Activision’s updates at the link below.

Minecon

Though not necessarily the same type of gaming event as the others mentioned, Minecon 2013 is coming up. Minecon is the third convention in as many years, celebrating the creation of Minecraft. The convention is set to be held in Orland, Florida, with a location to be announced and will be taking place November 2nd through the 3rd. However, tickets will go on sale sometime this month. So keep an eye out if you’re planning on taking a vacation in Florida for a couple of days mining some coal and diamonds, and maybe even a visit to the Disney theme park in Orlando.
