I came close to making this a click-bait title, but I didn’t want to be a dick like that. Anyway, as the title states we will be closing the site down for a few days. Reason being that we are launching a new version of the site on March 3rd and it’s going to take us a few days to get all of the changes made. We will be closing the doors temporarily on Friday sometime after 5pm EST and reopening the site Monday morning. By the time most people look at the site they will see a shiny brand new Mash Those Buttons.
Our current design was originally designed as a prototype that never was meant to see the light of day. However, due to certain circumstances at the time, this is the one we had to roll with. We never meant to keep this design up for this long, but running a website about games was much more time consuming that we had anticipated. Over the years we have made changes to the current design to help reflect the content that we wanted to publish, but at some point you just have to start fresh and that’s what we are doing this weekend.
During this transition our articles will be unavailable, but you can still get our podcasts from Soundcloud and videos from YouTube. We are really excited for this transition and we hope you enjoy what we have in store for the future. See you on the other side.
