Happy New Years! A new year and a slew of new patching, games, and opportunities for the fighting game community. Starting up the year with a new character in SFV, Kage the evil Ryu, and a bad Akuma? Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has been released and easily broke into 5 million copies sold between NA and Japan. But how has Smash held up with the community? We’re seeing figureheads like Leffen and Zero enjoying the game, will we see a match between titans in this game soon? In Randoms of the FGC, we see a release of a mysterious Mortal Kombat 1 Remake showing some impressive graphics and homages to the original game filled with gore. We’re only two days into 2019 but it’s already looking stacked with new fighting games. Samurai Spirits, MK11, a new Guilty Gear Project and DOA just to name a few will bring revive some franchises and continue some legacies that we just can’t wait to get our hands on.

Video gaming runs in his blood and competition plagues his mind. From the earliest days in the now extinct arcades, to the eSports competitive scene, he looks forward to the next game to test his skills. No stranger to rising salt levels.

I've been playing video games for a while now. I enjoy racing games, RPGs, but spend most of my time with fighting games. My first goal was to get better than my brothers, but now I strive to be better than most while also teaching others.
