Next wave of fighting games have been released in droves. We dive into SFV’s direction now that the first majors have passed. Pokken has hit the US shores and has already received interesting reception from not only the hosts, but fans as well. Coming out strong, with a season with over $100,000 in prize money, is Pokken going to be taken seriously, or is it just a fad we won’t see past Evo?
KOF14 had a marathon of characters unveiled. Promising 50 characters by release, and now currently on their 10th trailer, they are living up to their word. SNK Playmore isn’t the only company pumping out content. Netherealms and Iron Galaxy have now released their own respective DLC Seasons of new characters, costumes, and updates to both MKX and KI. Some are receiving new content while Nintendo has officially called the end of DLC for Smash 4, but how much more could you add?
