Evo2017 has finally passed, and it has been a tearful road to the top. CrashTag & Mezza didn’t get to appear at Evo2017, but they sure do have a lot to cover. NetherRealms not very strong on the updates and reveals at EVO, and more focused on fixing Injustice 2 after with balance patches. Sub Zero is officially out and playable, but banned from tournaments for a month. Capcom throws us a bone with Gamora and Jedah gameplay. The team covers the very playful combofiend vs Splyce|Fchamp exhibition match which seemed to have shocked FChamp a bit, or did it?

Riding the Capcom wave of reveals. Street Fighter V received some Nostalgic costumes, the original Classic Ryu Stage, NuckleDu’s very own costume Guile, and the Ring of Pride on July 25th. A new comer to the ring appears as well when Abigail, the street gang leader from Final Fight, makes his first fighting game appearance in Street fighter V! Arcsys goes wild with a Blazblue character release “Jubei”, one of the six heroes! Bandai steps their game up with Trunks Gameplay/reveal for Dragon Ball FighterZ and even added Krillin & Piccolo to the mix. Also a DB FighterZ basic tutorial was released for learning purposes.

Namco, pushing hard with Tekken 7, teams up with SNK to bring us Geese Howard! Pokken also gets its very own promo trailers for each new character and the game itself. In the “Randoms Of The FGC” Jarret Jeffries gets appointed as president of EchoFox, and the DoubleTap Team seems to like the shift in gears for EchoFox. CrashTag brings up some good points on the Mysterious Arika Game character reveals, and Mezza throws his two cents in about BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle.

Ryce brings us more leaks for Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite, and HurtboxTV drops more then over 200 Dissidia Beta codes for the community! Crash & Mezza tackle the “Focus Attack” post Evo thoughts, and they seemed to have been very impressed with the turnout despite the games being played on Sunday. Last but not least, they hit you with some heavy mod highlights from KOFXIV’s Luong as Juri to Urien cosplaying Ultron.

Andres Mirandes

Video gaming runs in his blood and competition plagues his mind. From the earliest days in the now extinct arcades, to the eSports competitive scene, he looks forward to the next game to test his skills. No stranger to rising salt levels.

Jeremiah Ward

Got his start gaming with his two cousins and brother at his aunts house. They had to always play in secret, but he fell in love with fighting games when he got his first taste of an arcade in Maryland. Now looks to grow the community.
