We’ve got a ton of news to cover this week as we move out of the May Melee tournament season and into the June Joust. We begin with a look at several news stories from around the league, as several teams announced new signings. We go further into how the additions affect each team’s prospects for the rest of the season, and discuss how the new moves will likely affect team strategies.
Next, we break down all of the key information for the 2nd tournament of the season, the June Joust. We discuss the important changes regarding tie-breakers as well as the new map pool for the coming weeks. We then cover the implications of this stage’s Hero Pool eliminations and what they mean for the metas we’re likely to see. We wrap up with a brief look ahead at next week’s games and discuss the strength of schedule for some of OWL’s premier squads.
